Math: We will be finishing up with chapter 5 test on Monday. I am working with a few students on the test while others are working on solving words problems on their own. We will be starting chapter 6 this week and I expect it to take us until Winter break. Chapter 6 is multiplication with 6, 7, 8 and 9! We are doing a mad minute daily to help with our addition and subtraction fluency.

Reading: Thank you so much for your support of our play, Pushing Up the Sky this week. We had a great time doing it and the students did really well with it. This week we will be reading Night Letters a realistic fiction story focusing on asking and answering questions about a story.

Writing: We are continuing our informational piece this week with learning how to gather information from different sources on the internet. This piece will take us about a month to complete.

Social Studies: Science Unit.
